There was a princess in a palace and the palace has 100 steps. The king gave a test to all able knights in the kingdom if they want to marry the princess. All they have to do is to bring an exact number of apples so that when they reach the top of this 100 steps they should be carrying with them atleast 50 apples which they should give to the princess. They are not allowed to eat the apples or leave any behind and every bit counts even halves.
You have an infinite supply of apple baskets each with 100 apples in it. You can take with you any number of baskets as you want but the catch is on every step there is a guard and you have to give each guard exactly the same number of apples as the number of baskets you are carrying with you. For example if you are taking 100 baskets of apple with you then you have to give each guard 100 apples or if you are carrying 90 baskets then you have to give each guard 90 apples and so on....
How many baskets of apple should a knight bring to get the beautiful princess?
