OK I've gone for forum user '619' for my DaVinci credit (cheapest I could find) and am planning to flash with R1L EU3 firmware using CDA102338/38 R6A.
I'm wanting to be able to use the SEUS in the future and to get rid of the camera sound - can anyone see any problems with these given the above plan?
Many thanks
Alan
(edit - corrected '618' to '619')

Ah well - couldn't wait to do the update so went ahead anyway!
Now debranded
However my SW info page now says - R1L002 prgCXC 125952_EU_1_CL despite me flashing with the EU3 firmware. The languages on the phone do however correspond to EU3, so I don't quite understand.
The customisation bit says - CDA102338/38 R6A cxc125953 R1L002 1E0W EUROPE_3
I tried accessing the SEUS again but it won't let me in now, saying there are no updates available for my operator

Is this just SEUS playing up or can other folks using this CDA get into it OK?
Cheers
Alan

R1L002 prgCXC 125952_EU_1_CL refers to the main i think as for the other question bout seus it would be best answered by others that have that cda as well. btw wondering why havent you just use europe3 cda. no matter!

Just a quick question, and sorry if this has already been stated, im just trying to get my head around the CDA.
Im in Australia and i have a Vodafone badged K750i, and i would like to remove the Vodafone badging from it. However im confused when it comes to what CDA i need to use. Ive checked with the SEUS and confirmed that i have the latest software, so i beleive i only need to change the customisation (CDA?) in the DaVinci Software for the phone?
Sorry if im asking the bleeding obvious here, but im a bit of a noob with Phone Flashing and this is also my first Sony Ericsson.
Thx in Advance!!!

@grca73 - I used the UK generic CDA instead because it seemed to be the one that was mentioned most on the thread as being the one to use. I went for EU_3 just because that was what my phone seemed to be as supplied by Orange. The camera click certainly isn't sounding when in silent mode though which is nice (although to be fair to Orange it didn't sound before I debranded either).
I had seen a list of CDAs earlier in the thread that were meant to work with SEUS, but I couldn't see any of the DaVinci generics on it, so I went for the UK one instead.
Does anyone know of a non-branded CDA that _does_ work with SEUS?
Cheers

@alex
Muchas gracias.
@alanjrobertson
Mine does.
CDA102338/48 R9A
cxc125953 R1L002
EUROPE3
But as stated before it might depend on a kind of matching between IMEI and CDA to have them working on SEUS after you had reflashed, rectmed. I dunno but I hope someone could check if it phone works on SEUS and after, using davinci or whatever software, their phone still works on SEUS

I used the davinci software to flash my phone. Originally it had the chinese T9/menus, as well as English and some other asian languages.
After I used the "america2" flash file I got the Spanish (XL) t9/menus as well as the portuguese, (PB) the chinese for some weird reason wasn't deleted.
And I still have the english (AE) menus, but NOT the t9 in English!!!
So be careful if you use this service make sure you select the appropiate languages pack and also, you have to pay 10 euros IN ADVANCE to use it; if you don't, the software will still flash your phone but in the 'finalization' phase when it tries to check your password (given to you by davinci AFTER you pay) if you don't have a valid name/password it will give you an error message on the pc and your cell phone WON'T turn on!!!!!! Beware of this!!!

Oh well, it's not a major issue just now. It'd just be a problem when (hopefully) a new firmware is released that return the video recording mode back to it's previous higher resolution (or any other bugs/new features that SE care to add!). I'll retry it again at that point and suppose if the worst comes to the worst I'll just reflash using DaVinci and try and pick another CDA that does seem to work!
Cheers
