You are actually downgrading when you do that.

The K800 is newer with a more up to date firmware.

I would never make a switch like that.

W900 is a generation older than the K800. It lacks xenon flash as well as a good 3.2 megapixel camera.

well...u should try them both...K800 cannot be considered as an complete multimedia phone whatever you say...and about the firmware you're wrong..have them both and the K800 is the champion on rebooting itself..where the W900 is stable plus it has brilliant sound camera video huge internal memory...K800 apart from the camera and A2DP has nothing over the W900

anyway...u will decide so try them both

i wouldnt even consider changing my w900 for a k800, cuz it doesnt seem like a big step forward and counting that w900 has better video and huge internal memory(in fact i dont use a memory stick and dont have storage problems).

I might consider change to shinobu depending on what it offers and if it is a truely succesor to my w900.

But its up to u to decide

When I mentioned newer firmware, I also mean newer features. I'm sure there are some things the K800 has in it's feature list that the W900 lacks, just like how the K610 has so much more to offer software wise as compared to my K750.

Ok, put it this way, K800 and W900 are both good phones. They have their ups and downs, but interchanging one for the other would be quite a waste of money as both won't bring about a substantial amount of improvement to be considered an upgrade.
