Just found a solution to mine
Definately my router is the problem, i have just tried a Belkin ADSL router and it works a treat.
Mines Voda too mate, try another wifi connection.
Could be your router!
Just need to buy a Belkin one now

I use T-Mobile USA too. When I turned the phone on for the first time, it displayed searching for longer than with past SE phones but for no more that 7-10 seconds. Best bet is probably a new SIM.
