I know you're not asking me, but in my opinion, it's because you still have the proto, right? You and SE are still testing it, right? Therefore...not ready. But I hope Oli and I are very wrong.

Partially as laurenke01 said, because I believe its still being tested. And I don't mind that. May as well get it right. Also, I have heard too many people say it will be released later in the year. Of course I hope I am wrong!

I think that Shiho wont be announced in the 31-3/4-4 date, I feel it will follow the K850i dates, announcement in June, Release in Sept./Oct.

I think this is the new dates for C-S flagship, but I may be wrong

One other thing that makes me wonder about the Pwhatever's release date is the fact that rumours from the very beginning said that it will run UIQ 4. And well we've only just seen the release of 3.3! They won't release 4 within such a small space of time after the release of 3.3.

If the Pwhatever is released at the end of this month, then I believe it will run 3.3. After all, 3.3 and 4 are just numbers. Who's to say that what we were thinking would be 4 isn't just 3.3?

I don't honestly believe they follow such a strict schedule of announcing and releasing. I don't think we'll ever find a pattern in the dates, I don't think SE intend for their products to be released that way. Sure they'll have deadlines, but I think they'd just be set for whenever they think they can have the development complete by.

Remember this...there are ALOT of UIQ devices coming...i mean, loads of them...they might announce P something and some others now, with UIQ3.3, then at the end of the year, they will present even newer models

It seems the X1 has alot of "cousins"...it also can happen than X1 UIQ cousins are not P5, but that does not mean we won´t see both (P5 and Xperia UIQ)...go figure...SE has misterious ways

not completely agree with you, do have marketing priority, they can't just release/announce the phones as soon as they complete as this will conflict with other already released phones.

so unless they released a phone that intended for ( low spread ) and this is way too far from strategy...

plus, how could announce the next C-S flagship and a high-mid-end phone (C902) still not released yet !! this will kill the response to the C902 before it being released, I know that C902 release time is very close to june ( it's late May as seen on that leaked page from ) but it happened before with K810i and K850i, K810i has been released in June, and K850i announced in July, only one month after...

looking at the price tag for C902 the Shiho must be targeted as more expensive or later release...

this is just opinion, I maybe wrong, and maybe want to ann. it soon and release later, but my feel is about 40% that shiho will be announced this ann., a mid year ann. will have the 60% for me... so I don't say that it won't, but I just don't feel it good and logically
