Howzit guys.I'm new to this thread but l've been on esato since last year and thanks to Brix25 for inviting me here.I have a P800 and l've been with it for almost 3 yrs now, before this l had an N-gave and had to give it to my brother when l got the p800.I must say that the UIQ platform for me is much better as compared to the S60 platform.I don't think l'll change to any platform,i'll be stuck on UIQ for...But on the other hand it depends on the individual since we don't all like the same things.
I hope the P990 hit MZANSI soon!

Lets just say that you can get any phone, at R135pm X 24, thats the main seller, in terms of having the latest phone, currently you can get a N90 or a N70 any highend phone at R135 pm!!

So most employed ppl buy on credit then? (I am guessing "pm" means per month)

@jmash: Welcome broer...earlier today I wasn't feeling too good but thankfully things have improved.

@coola: I suppose majority of people who have nice phones get through two options, either through post-paid contracts or normal credit cards that shops/banks issue their customers. If you buy your phone using the latter option you'll most likely be on PAYG.
@ALL: What do you guys make of a draft bill which will require all phones and SIM cards to registered? Failing to do so might have the police on your trail.

l think the draft bill sucks, people lose phones everyday and l don't think it will reduce cellphone theft!

It's not supposed to curb cellphone theft! The new proposals have their origins in anti-terror legislation although they're more broad to include the fight against organised crime. As things stand government can already track the location of a SIM or phone should they be activated on a network.

@786KBR: You're being quite cheeky there putting a wallpaper on a 8800 which IMO is a phone that deserves the upmost respect from all even, fanboys.

PS: Is it just me or does the N91 look awesome, saw an for it today in all the major Sunday papers.
