Doesn't debrand require you to flash the firmware as well? That is likely able to solve BROD..correct me if I am wrong.

I initially thought that debranding was not a complete flash but it seems that you have to reflash to a brand new FW to remove carrier branding anyway. So in essence the different intent designates the reflash by different terms. Unless I am missing something.

Yeah, debrand = Flash. I was getting the 50Euro for unlocking mixed up.
If the truth be known, Id prefer to just do a Main flash of the currently installed F/W (if it were poss and save all my bits and bobs) but for £5 i'l take that option of a full flash and custom'

No, it isn't necessary. You'll lose some options(in menu) if u do a master reset.

actually you can, my friend flashed his k850 instea of bringing it back to repair, and it worked since its a software issue

My restarts are not through overloading the OS, in fact Im hardly using the phone at all right now, yesterdays crash came from asking the phone to open the camera and some reboots happen when the phone is just sitting on my desk.
Seeing so many people getting the BROD is making me nervous.

OK, I have now contacted the servies and they say that I should be able to get the new FW. So I think the only way I can solve this is by Posting all my numbers from service info>software info, and you guys telling me whats wrong. I have a totally unlocked phone, but it has been branded by O2.
