Does that U10i version of the Aino have a less widescreen ir is it the image aspect ratio that has been fiddled? Is this one of the many updates that I heard someone mention?

I simply can't believe SE has only vulcan on its sleeves for Sept 2. SE usually announce high end phones alongside some new accessories or mid range handsets to complement. and who knows, SE has been cooking for some big surprises even before sources knew them. SE can be extremely confidential at some times.
