Anyone have an idea as to why the such rapid/substantial drop on price already?

No price drop at all in the UK, and as it seems the Black version will become to norm for here, and as I particularly wanted the white one, it was worth the (potential) extra.

Guys who already been used M600 for a while, what is your opinion about to not have 5-way jogdial? Myself has customized my 5-way exactly as I want it to behave on my P990.

I didn't think think the p990i had a 5-way jogdial ?:::? You custom made one yourself?

the scroll wheel is fine and the return button just underneath goes someway to making up for not having 5 way

it does annoy me that when entering my sim pin number after turning the phone on, I cannot click the scroll wheel in to confirm it. you have to press "done" on the screen. clicking the scroll wheel just brings up help!

It would be nice if the scroll wheel actually scrolled to the three soft buttons on the bottom of the screen - it would help one handed use no end. Hopefully this is something that could be added in future firmware though.

Word of warning about the stylus and how it is held in place. It is very week and the only thing that secures it is a small piece of plastic that add's pressure to the metal clip that locks it in place.

I am guessing you know what I am going to say next...yup the plastic broke and the stylus went flying somewhere in Vauxhall Station... so should anyone see a blue stylus on the platform its mine.

But I have managed without it thank god for the the qwerty...so be very carefull if you opening and closing the back cover.

I am using TimePane to customize but there is for sure other apps that can change how you want the jogdial to react.

You soon get used to it...
However I recently gave my brother my P905 and whilst showing around the features... I kept going to press for the back button on the M600i....

If you switch off predictive input and on screen handwritting recognition you find the overall speed of the device improves. I prefer using the keyboard so I dont miss the other features.
