Sony Ericsson / Sony : Android : Sony Xperia Z2
they are full 20MP photos for z2 so it's manual at 4:3 AR.
anyway, here's something new from eprice.

sound comparison. even the lg pro 2 is louder than the z2. just not sure about the test methodology there. how did they test the output of stereo speakers of m8 and z2? surprising to learn that the g2 pro is as loud as the m8.

It's not all about Loudness c'mon! We are talking about a mere 3dB difference but most important the sound in Xperia Z2 and HTC M8 is on another level deeper and clearer! The S5 and the LG G2 Pro sounds more metallic and distorted...
IMHO the HTC M8 is still the king, but the Z2 is a really good ed fort from Sony!

Now i have one more reason Why NOT to believe this crapy ePrice review and comparo!
They are deliberately trying to prove G pro 2 the best among the bunch when actually it's not even near!
I wonder how much they have been paid ?!
Who in this universe will believe that pro 2 is louder than Z2 and equals htc one ??? That one is a simply Exaggerated FALSE fact!
We all have seen that Z2 matches new One in loudness only being a bit behind in clarity!

Loudspeaker scores from GSMArena -
LG G Pro 2 - 66.7 64.9 75.7 Average
HTC One - 69.3 66.6 75.9 Good
IMO LG is paying reviewers a Nice amount of money!

@CrownedAkuma
of course it's not about the loudness. you simply can't compare two speaker holes/slits/grills to one. that's why i mentioned that it's quite puzzling how they came up with those volume levels. audio quality most likely suffers when a high amount of volume is being forced through a single speaker.

every 10 db is twice as loud, so 3db is quite a big deal.

Well actually we are talking about dB spl (Sound pressure Level) which are different from the normal dB...
they are calculated as this 10*log10 (I/I°) where the I° intensity is the ea limit, which is really low, we are talking about 20 MICROPascals... therefore if the dB results are 81 and 84 it means that the log10 of the ratio is 8.4 and 8.1... which means a bear 0.3 difference which in log terms is still big... but it is related to the lowest ear perception which is 20micropascals....
besides human perception of sound intensity is way more complicate than simple logaritmic values..!
are you telling me that to you the LG G2 Pro seemed 1/2 as loud as the Z2...?

true!
they are compensating the lack of sound quality with high volumes... and the results are clearly not comparable...

Damn I thought it was actually twice louder, I've gotten used to +3 dB gain as twice the value in electric power.

I think I'm going to upgrade from the Z1 to the Z2. The only thing that bothers me about the Z1 is its speaker. Now, the Z2 has stereo speakers and other improvements as well.
However, I am concerned about a few things:
-I wonder if the speakers of Z2 are going to be located exactly in the middle. The little speaker of the Z1 is on the right side of the bottom of the device. You can notice that if you try to cover the speaker with your thumb, so don't let the grille fool you.
-I hope the speakers are not uneven. Remember W595? The bottom speakers was louder than the top one. The three holes at the bottom of the Z2 make me worried about this, because there is only one hole at the top of the Z2.
-I hope it is loud or at least loud enough.

This is the retailing version of Z2 in China. I shot some pictures to compare with ZU. All pictures were taken by ZL. The review will come in a couple days.
