I've been on Lollipop since the Friday it was released for the German Note 4s and so far, I agree with Aussie, not big changes UI wise, just nice touches here and there, I like the new Notifications in terms of how they look but as someone who enjoys watching series on this magnificent QHD display while in bed, I hate how my WhatsApp interrupts despite me turning Priority on (I have not set WhatsApp as priority), I have multiple group chats; one with colleagues, other with close friends, another with old friends that I see now and then and a few others, and all day everyday at least one of the groups has a lot of chatting going on, and in Lollipop the video pauses and shows a pop-up of each message, now you can imagine how annoying that is and I can't seem to find the right setting to just keep the notifications going in the background while the video plays as it was in KitKat, in KitKat I'd hear the notifications and just read or respond afterward, they wouldn't disturb the video.

Also, the lack of Silent is a bit irritating, I have set Group Chats to Not Vibrate my phone, yet when at work I put my phone on vibrate, and despite my WhatsApp setting, it vibrates for Group Chats.

It's these little things that Google and Samsung have messed up.

Now on the other end, Battery Life has improved nicely, not by a huge margin but enough to be noticeable, the UI is also faster and smoother overall.

That's my experience so far.

Glad you like Note 4 under lollipop tsepz. I don't use whatsap so much so no major issue for me there .

What do you thing of the message theme - I don't like the orange , not sure why they choose that. I wish I could change it?

Other than that I like it. Silent while I agree was a stupid move doesn't bother me as mine is on vibrate anyway.

I am happy samsung has the kill all in recent as opposed to lollipop on nexus 6 where you have to close them one by one. Also it seems like the recent app button lag is reduced ?

Wish samsung got a bit more from the original lollipop look but still thein or changes made makes the ui look better imo

The Message theme is just awful, I dread looking at it, the yellow just doesn't make any sense, I feel like it was either an afterthought OR they tried too hard to make it look "interesting", either way, they should have just left it alone really.

Recent app is quicker indeed.

I think the Galaxy S6 will bring the all new Lollipop UI, this is just temporary. They still have some work to do.

They said that s6 will have a lighter version of tw- really curious about it? Also they said about preloaded Microsoft productivity apps - it would be cool to get excel and word like on iPhone - the android version is not great by comparison

I also read the they fixed the silent issue on s5 - hopefully it will come to Note 4 as well.

I think that if s6 was a phablet I would be interested but as it stands I am not . Plus the Nexus 6 should keep me satisfied (hopefully ) until September at least

Stilli minor changes or not note 4 does feel like a new phone - I have been using it more than nexus 6 the last couple of days which surprised me

I just hope now a fix will come so we can change the ugly messaging theme

There should be a bug fix update soon for the Note 4, could explain why its taking longer for other regions to get it.

I'm also quite curious about the new 'lighter TW' and MS apps, looking forward to it, it can only be good for Samsung's push into enterprise, they need to better challenge Apple in the whole BYOD segment.

Thats incredible that you're using the Note 4 more when the Nexus 6 is THEE Lollipop device, is it due to the extra benefits in the Note?

That Note 4 vs. Nexus 6 comparison is a good read, Note 4 does very well, I believe the Note 4 is still the Phablet to beat, nothing has come yet that truly challenges its mix of unique functionality, excellent ergonomics for such a large device, and overall package.

So after much contemplation, I have rolled back to KitKat, the Silent Mode and Notifications ticker mess were just too much, Google truly messed with something that didn't need any messing with and ruined it. I'll wait for 5.0.2 or 5.1, whichever fixes all this.
