What we some how know is a possible arrangement between Qualcomm and Samsung, the later fab the chips.. and the former provides the first shipments to Samsung to fulfil their S8 SoC demand.

If intel is having problems with 10nm, then it is no surprise that Samsung would have similar issues even though their 10nm is not technically the same as intel's 10nm.

it's been pretty quiet here lately.
any new rumors as to the IFA devices? Will we be seeing a new flagship with brand new design that will make me wish i hadn't just purchased an XZP?

I'm thinking that they will have the XZP internals without the 4K screen which is good, hopefully there is the equivalent Compact model too. They will be forced to reduce the top and bottom bezel size because of the competition....word on the street....in order for that to happen you'll need a big change in design to accommodate this. I don't expect them to do the OLED screen just yet, perhaps next year.

It's great having the luxury of stereo front-facing speakers but I'd still like them to take a few more risks and churn out a whole new design, so I'll be made up if what Archdragoon says is true.
