Visit SErbia!!!We have better food than Croatians.In this period of year,in Leskovac,near Bulgarian border,we have big barbacue (sorry about spelling),and you can't find better burgers anywhere in the world.In Leskovac,people are like Mexicans,they love hot food.The most popular meal is 'Leskovacka muckalica'- all sorts of meat in very hot sauce.We have many, unique food, that can't be found anywhere in world, not even in Croatia.If you want to eat excellent food and to see beautiful women, come to SErbia.

I haven't been to Montenegro (Crna Gora, thats why our name is SCG, not SM) for 7 years, but I went this year. I couldn't beleve how have they changed, it is very lovely, lots of beches, of all size and type (from sand to rocks and docks), and lots of new hotels and Villas, but there are more beautiful hauses for rent... These are places where to go in CG: Herceg Novi, Budva, Petrovac and Canj. After that I suggest to visit SErbia (those places I've talked about).

Which destinations are the most popular choices for Eastern Europeans going on holiday? It might be interesting to compare the top destinations for Eastern Europeans with those of Western Europeans.
The top spots for Western Europeans seem to be Mediteranean resorts along with the U.S.A. and the Carribean.

@boto - very pretty, that!
Another little musing I've often pondered over - many people seem to go on holiday to places like Spain, Greece etc. in Europe - where to the Spanish and Greeks go on holiday?
I reckon that they must get sick of it being so hot and sunny all the time so they must all go on holiday to.... Britain! I bet they decide to 'get away from it all' by going to the UK in the summer just to freeze and get rained on. It must be bracing for them, walking up Skegness's coastline on a cold, windy, rainy August Bank Holiday (public holiday in UK) weekend.
Then, after a glorious week in the rain, it's back to boring old sun, sun sun, blue skies, eating al fresco and 30C every day except for a short stint in the winter
Seriously though, where do all you Southern Europeans who live in Mediterranean countries go on holiday?

Do Eastern Europeans think of themselves as being European? Is there a desire to be closer to the rest of Europe?
