@victor

Are you still able to use SEUS? I might be trying with America1 or EU1

Mmmm, good question! But I don't know....
I haven't tried to use the SEUS again after the davinci flashing.

If you still want to use the davinci flash, I would recommend you to select the EU5 file which has English, Italian, French and German and you can add spanish later in the "customization" field. Hope this helps...

Well, now I can say that the CDA / IMEI check that some people, including me, think that SEUS made when updating is false!!

I tried SEUS now and it keep my AMERICA_2 customization (my phone come originally with APAC_2 customization).

@xtazy

Suerte!!

Hello.

I've just registered at esato because I need help with flashing my phone, I don't mean to annoy anyone, but I am new to this and have little understanding of what I should do, even after looking on this. Please help.

I have got a new K750i branded to O2. All I want is to get my K750i back to the way Sony Ericsson intended, so as if I had bought it direct from them. I thought I could easily update it from the Sony Ericsson website, but I read that O2 have stopped people from doing that with an error message. Someone said using the 'DaVinci Team' program to flash the phone meant that you could then update from the Sony Ericssom site again.

Sorry for this long post but please could you help? This is what I want to do:

1. Flash my K750i with DaVinci, but I need to know which options to select, and which firmware to select from the latest DaVinci Client 13.8

2. Then I want to update from the Sony Ericsson website so my K750i has the latest official Sony Ericsson firmware, without any operator branding.

If you can help please reply to this if you have time, or email me at broken.wave@gmail.com

Thanks

Welcome to Esato, brokenwave

A couple of pointers:
- make sure you download the K750i specific version of the DaVinci software - the screenshot you attached isn't for the K750 (if you're planning to use the USB cable that came with the phone)

- since you say that the SEUS told you that your operator didn't allow updating it seems like you've got the drivers for the USB cable already installed fine which is good

- when you download the DaVinci software there's a tab on it called 'flash files' - click on there and download the R1L software - one of the EUROPE 1/2/3 ones would probably be sensible if you're in the UK (which I'm guessing you are being on O2)

- R1L is the latest firmware so you won't need to use SEUS immediately after the update. However to use SEUS in the future you need to set the correct CDA. This is the customisation setting that SEUS recognises - if you leave it unchanged then it would just rebrand your phone to O2/Orange, etc. You therefore need to use the generic CDA. I went for 102338/38, which was mentioned a number of times earlier on this thread as being the generic one for UK phones. However I currently can't access SEUS - it seems though that people with unbranded (aka SIM-free) phones are also having trouble, so it's likely a problem at 's end rather than with the CDA. We don't know for certain yet though so you just need to take the (slight) risk that you may need to spend money on another DaVinci credit to flash your phone to the latest firmware if the SEUS service still isn't accepting it (you could always change your CDA again at this point once we know which one SEUS will accept).

- option wise in the software - tick the boxes next to main, fs, and finalisation (it's for this last one that you need to have the credit) - see pic below.

HTH
