A lot of this phone sounds like wishful thinking to me. The real changes for SMC won't come until the second half of next year. Remember phones have an 18 month lead time, so if you take SMC moving to Tokyo as Day 1, then the first Tokyo phones with full Sony involvement aren't going to be out until next year."
He did also mention this
" Not heard about that tbh, afaik there is no such phone called "One Sony", there is a 2H flagship but it's not going to be out until August. We will get C670x before that which is the 4.8" FHD, SD600 phone. Not sure which regions it is going to come out in though, probably the same regions the phablet comes out in."

Seems believable as the real comeback of Sony should be 2014

But I would buy a Z or ZL till 2014
So I can have a made in Japan Xperia (maybe xD?)

that's what zomg believes. The two most trusted insiders on our thread ramu and dacha believe otherwise...
Both have heard acc. to their sources that 2h flagship will indeed carry all that super stuff.
Morover ramu and dacha are right 99% of time while zomg has only partial success rate.

Well abhi you can't say that. Neither I, Huiyi nor Dacha have 90% accuracy. And it's not right to say that zomg has partial success rate.
He has different sources, Dacha, me and Huiyi we all have different sources too. So any of us could be right but may also be wrong. But if all of us agree on a certain rumor it's definitely more credible than what Zomg or someone else may say.
But anyway, with the Rumor rating system we do make it clear how much you should trust a rumor.
Though the ones rated XR5 are almost definitely true, no matter what anyone else may say.

Kaz Hirai would be bat shit insane of he tried to sell a thick camera phone as the 2H flagship. It never made sense, zomgs original info atleast was logical, sell a limited edition camera phone for the people who love photography
But the 2H flagship needs to be thin and light because thats what sells in mainstream. Most people do not care about the amazing photography, they just want pictures to be good enough for their facebook albums. Thats why Galaxy, iPhones sell 10x what Pureview 808 sells or even what Lumia 920 sells

Sorry but that's just not happening. There is no "separate" Camera phone and 2H flagship.
And this is XR5 category info.
There is only 1 flagship for 2H 2013 - One Sony = Honami = C680X
3 devices with S800
5" - Honami
4" - Ray 3
6.x" - Phablet
Apart from these three there is C670X with S600.
No other phone
Also I don't understand why some are thinking thick = bad ? A phone being 12mm doesn't it the size of a Note 2. Thin phones are a fad. Nobody's gonna go " OMG!!!!!!! So fat!!" seeing a 12mm thick phone as long as it's not too long and wide.
Satio was 13mm thin
Lumia 920 is 10.7 mm thin
ZL 10mm, Acro S is 12mm, N8 is 13mm thin,

Sony's comeback is happening now. The Xperia Z, though an imperfect device, is selling rather well. Though I doubt Sony will be able to match Samsung or Apple for number of Units sold, they should at least be competing with or exceeding the likes of HTC and LG. Certainly the legwork involved in getting the Sony brand back onto the map is happening now, in 2013.
Maybe the proper "Sony" devices made completely internally in Japan will start appearing next year, but the foundation is being laid now.

And Vita OS....oh god, not this again. Hasn't it been emade clear enough already that developing Vita OS to the point at which it matches iOS, Android, WP8, even BB10, in terms of functionality would cost a lot of money. Why bother, when you can invest in the already growing and substantial Android ecosystem, which improves annually at no extra cost to Sony themselves. Maybe they could use their Android licence more creatively and branch off a little more with the software or even merge Vita OS with Android (which would be VERY good idea).....
And, the rumors posted by Random and ZOMG sound a whole lot more reasonable than the bullshit, wishful thinking that was flying around not too long ago in this thread. You people need to stop confusing reality with dreams; this isn't Inception.
