anybody else noticed shorter batterylife after updating. at least i have.

I most certainly have... I was wondering the same too... I get the feeling that r1bc has reduced my battery life... can anybody confirm this?

yes i 2 have noticed shorter battery life, just updated my k750i to rb1002 or sumat like dat anyhow, also the hissing when playing music i hav always had in r1035 but i can only hear it when i put my w800i headphones/hpm70 stereo handsfree then turn the volume off , it never bothers me cos even if i put music up to one volume bar it gets rid of hissing.

also the camera is the same speed and everything , the video is worse it is square and not as good as in r1035.

speaker volume has not changed one lil bit im dissapointed i should hav stayed with r1035 mush better.

Just upgraded my R1L002 to R1B002... I must say I freaked out first because the SEUS abrouptly ended, I wasn't looking, and it went back to the main screen, saying "Start", "Exit"... to update. I let the phone there for 5 minutes aprox., exited SEUS...

It took some second to start the phone cause the firmware I suppose was installing. It booted and the info was that it updated OK! So, it's working pretty good right now.

The hiss sound isn't very loud, the mega bass feature is usable at all now, the speaker and earphone is louder, the contrast is greatly improved, pictures are taken as the shutter sound, menus are faster... and, much appreciated, the Bluetooth permissions are OK! Max_Wedge... It's working for me, I can send files and delete them without prompting in the phone... it's great.

Dan that's excellent news! I guess my bluetooth permissions still don't work to teach me not to make unsubstantiatd claims!

yes, your phone is still branded to Orange. so it will upgrade accordly to orange's updates.. but as far as i can see..orange hasn't approved the latest version yet (for w800i users). feel free to try updating, but i don't think u will get the newest firmware at the moment though.

could we get some more input on this shorter battery life claim I've seen lately (on this page)? Are there more people that have the latest firmware and are noticing a decrease in battery life??????
