True, the slim phone craze is exceptionally overrated, I mean how many of these people use their phones without jacket or carrying cover case which more or less doubles its thickness, defeating the point of slimness.
@vivftp
An E-mount full frame Xperia would cost way more than the RX1 or even the upcoming Full Frame NEX-9. I'd prefer a galaxy camera-killer device from Xperia instead.
They could turn the RX100 into an Android phone and that'll do the job nicely
So okay, no full frame... settle for APSC in a phone

Never understood people's obsession for thin phones, u sound like a girl. Or do u need it to match with whats in ur pants? Ahaha Acro S is good size to me. Thickness for substance is worth it, especially for a bigger sensor or battery. If the Pure View 808 was an Android phone it would of sold a hell of a lot more.
If Sony can put out a camera phone whose only competition is the 808 it would be a big deal in the Android world.
I remember when Lumia 920 was announced. The Nokia fanboys said the exact same things. "Do you have small hands?!" "just buy bigger pants!!" and they were right. Thats why it sold 40 million units. Oh wait no it didnt
And Android or Symbian it doesnt matter. Dont confuse people who post on forums with the other 90% of buyers, they barely know what OS their phone runs, they buy based on marketing and carriers. Making a camera phone is for a nische market, not mainstream. Now thats fine, plenty of nische markets, nobody believed phablets would sell. But that doesnt mean a camera phone can sell in flagship numbers. Just like phablets sell much less than flagship phones
But i believe a lot of people here will be wrong by christmas. So i wouldnt worry about it being thick, because it probably wont be

All I would like to know is, if C550X (Dogo) will be announced on Monday or soon? I heard its gonna be on sale in April already? Is that international or only "selected markets"?

To make choosing Better
If you are thinking to buy One Sony phone but you are afraid of "Thickness" or "The size" here is the solution :
Sony might come up with revolutionary design that make you forget about these things
But if not you can always take C670x
But
@Ramu
Any rumors about the display type of c670x
Is it still using eIPS or IGZO or S-LCD
Any good news xD?

I'm personally more interested in the the fact that they have 3 high-end pseudo-flagships with virtually the same internals, but with 3 different screen sizes. 4", 5" and 6". That to me is the perfect way to go for Sony.
Instead of releasing phones all over the place, target a single, consistant launch window and phones with high, mid and min-low internals, with each level offering a toss up of screen sizes.

Again @ last:
How can a
4"-device be the
rereplacement of a
3,3"-one (and, btw., without any replacement in between). Thats randomly, ridiculous and @ 1st absolutely unnecessary.
The beginning of 2013 are without something like that confused enough.
IMO.

I really don't know what you're confused about.
Its really not that hard to understand. The "Ray 3" isn't actually going to be called the "Ray 3", its a colloquial term we use, because it essentially fills the same position in 2013's lineup, as the original Ray did with the 2011 lineup; its a miniaturized flagship. All the high-end parts loaded into a frame that is smaller than that of the other flagships.
In other wordas; "Ray No.x" has nothing to do with actual screen size. The idea behind it, is that it refers to its size relative to other flagship devices. The original Ray had a screen that was an inch smaller than the Arc; the flagship of 2011. The "Ray 3" has a screen that is supposedly an inch smaller than the C670X.

It should be fake for Few reasons:
1 . Watch Dogs is on the screen (WHY?!?!)
2 . The design isn't familiar with LG Designs
3 . There is no rumors surfaced about an OLED screen manufactured by LG (considering LG always produce screens for its phones)
4 . Rumors Surfaced before about an eight-cores processor will be produced by LG H2 this year so it should be used in this phone(considering it would be launched h2)
