hey guys i have a problem...
i dowloaded update service and tried to update to R1BC002 (i was formerly running R1A008)... however the update didn't complete and it displayed "error reading script" (im not sure bout the exact words but it was something about scripts)... and so i unplugged and checked my phone if i ruined it... to my surprise when i checked the software it now displays R1BC002 and i also noticed the KB to MB memory display change... so i thought that the update procedeed after all... but just to make sure, i ran update service again hoping that it will say "you have the current software, no new update available or whatever".... however it still procedeed and asked me to update... so i procedeed... however towards the end it said "failed to update unplug cable and restart again"... i repeated this about 3 times and got the same result.... im just wonderring what i did wrong... if my phone displays R1BC002 (and everything works fine btw) shouldn't the update service just tell me i have the latest software?!? i hope someone can enlighten me about this.... also im just wondering about the software details...

im bothered by the customization... why does it say R1AA008? shouldn't it be already changed to R1BC002? or is this becuase my update didn't proceed into completion? if so, any fixes? i think SEUS is down right now as it constantly says "The service is unavailable at the moment. Please try again later" ... im sory if i have so many questions... im just making sure that i didn't ruin my phone! i hope you guys can help me out! thanks!

make a backup copy of ur phone(preferebly with MyPhoneExplorer),
do a master reset(a hard master reset,i.e.:"Reset All")
update again with SEUS
it defienitly works.

so THERE IS something wrong with my phone? but how come i can use it normally and seem to have gained the 'updates' of the latest software? in anyway i'll try what you said and hope for the best!
EDIT: SEUS is still down... it still gives me the unavailable at the moment thingy... what could be the problem with SEUS?...

So i have downloaded the newest SEUS version and when i have to connect the phone to the computer and hold c it doesnt go to the next step.
Instead my computer picks it up as a new device( same thing that happens when you plug in a usb device for first time)
Why is this happening, anyone help me? Please???

Yes, SEUS detects the language settings and updates your phone to the latest firmware available for that language and for the phones customization (i.e. phone prodiver)

Don't worry too much about this. I still have R1N035 customisation on my phone. However, as was stated previously, if you are prepared to do a master reset then you should get the 'correct' customisation ... not that it really matters.
