I wouldn't expect that many, if any, phones on the market now would get Android 3 regardless of system requirements.

Just bought myself an X10. Hopefully it will arrive tomorrow!

I got black because I decided I'm not the biggest fan of the white anymore, after seeing photos from other people. Also, even though my white Aino has been kept in soft cover all its life (a mobile sock if you know what that is), it still was difficult at times to keep it nice and white.

There's a rumour going on regarding Android 3.0 that it requires a device to have, at least, 3.5" screen, 1 Ghz processor and 512 RAM. If that's the case, then X10 will not get Android 3.0 update because it only has about 384 RAM. So I guess X10 is not good investment for a phone as it is not even a year since its released and it's getting quite outdated. It seems Android 2.2 is the last OS update that X10 will ever get if the rumour is true about the Android 3.0.

Did you forget the part where you wrote that IT'S A RUMOR.

I'm sorry but do you even know how to read or understand English? I do not want to be rude but if you read my post carefully, then you would know that it was conditional. I did not assume anything was true. That's why I used the conjuction "if" (which means in case that, granting or opposing that, on condition that) and the "guess" (it is a very common word) because I was uncertained, still am, about the Android 3.0 system requirements. Seriously, go take some reading and English course.

I rooted my device to R2BA020 firmware. Removed the moxier and playnow(which is anyway not useful in India) and now when my phone sleeps for 2 hours, the battery drains by 1 or 2%. If you want it so quickly, can try that.

I do want it but I'm still thinking to root it or not as it bloody voids the warranty.

I'm on call with Sony Ericsson helpline and you won't believe what he said to me.

Update Service
Where to install: On your Microsoft® Windows® computer
Version: 2.10.6.21

He says this is the version number of the phone LMFAO

Seriously they need to update their CUSTOMER SERVICE

I litreally had an arguement with that guy and after 15mins he agreed. Ridiculious
