@Skibbe The original "root" was very slow and sluggish. However, I am currently back on UK generic firmware running R2BA020 with root access.
We just have root access at the moment, so that's any applications that require super user access will run. As a example setCPU or Screen capture applications. However, the boot loader is still locked. So that means no custom ROM's at the moment.

@AndyD777 i am still waiting for the 020 update.. NCB i could runn UK Generic but to much of a hassel =)
okey, i really don't need any of those programs for now. or is there any other benefits besides programs like that?

I remeber when i could be out clubbin and still be able to hear people in the phone, these last years that as not been the case, lower and lower call volymes... why?

Yeah........SE should be able to increase the volume through firmware upgrade............I want a phone that can perform its basic function........."make a call on road"

The X10 Mini is pretty loud, compared to the X10. On the whole id say its louder than my old Nokia 6300 its replaced
