Of course not. They are not stupid enough to invest in two different skins for Android. If I were them, I would have released Reese or some other phone with standard Android first to be in the race and later release Rachael with a custom Android skin, like samsung are doing.

raw android from SE = impossible
They've anounced it so no hopes to keep on a boring android phone against HTC hero...
looking forward to see what's coming next and if it isn't another disapointment due to a false info or dumbphone anouncement again
Well like the W995 is doing I hope next phones are gonna do as well and keep SE going up then we could see more smartphones from SE

I like the sound of a 12mp slider in black, with metal parts and a 3" screen.

I'd quite like to know more about Kiki and/or Reese. Anyone have anything to share that we don't know? To me they are the interesting phones even if they aren't necessarily what I'd buy. I'd probably go for Aino when she arrives.

Side not: Has anyone here google imaged Aino Kishi? Perhaps she was the inspirtion for the naming. Beautiful handset..

@xell sounds like an upgraded C905. I love my C905 and would love to see a 12mp version with Aino style half touch thing and hidden d-pad to make space for a bigger screen. Cybershot branding preferred but not necessary.

Sony will once again take center stage at this year’s Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA), the world’s largest Consumer Electronics trade show, from 4th to 9th September in Berlin, Germany. On its 6,000 m” of floor space, the Sony booth in Hall 4.2 represents the biggest showcase by a single exhibitor at this year’s IFA for the second consecutive year. All consumers and dealers visiting the Sony booth are invited to experience the place where great things begin. It is where inspiration meets creativity, where creativity meets reality. It connects hardware and content, electronics and entertainment, Sony and consumers.

Further details, including the latest product and technology announcements, will be unveiled at the Sony press conference on the Sony booth on 2nd September at 17:00h.

@Ricky D

Kiki has a transparent screen, you can see right through it which is so damn cool. If you see a pretty girl, pull out Kiki and pretend you are checking your messages but instead check her out. I innovation.

@Xell

If there is a 12MP slider, it won't be better than Satio unless it has a touchscreen in which case it would be too similar. I don't think that Satio's camera can be significantly improved on at the moment and you would imagine that a C905 replacement would be better. I think the C905 CyberShot replacement will probably come next year.

This month will be great for phone lovers, many manufacturers will be announcing simultaniously for pre-Christmas release. I think we will be spoilt for choice.
