What puts me off the samsung is the headphone connecter u cant use ur own headphones on it due to the connector so u will be stuck with poor quality ones supplied.

you can't use your own headphones with the k850 either :S

anyway, mine's working fine since when i bought it 4 months ago. was vodafone branded but i debranded it just a couple of days back and updated via seus to 031 firmware. never had any serious problems. photos were dark previously but that's now been fixed. marble madness wouldn't work on the vodafone firmware but works perfectly on the generic one.

So in summary: Does the blue ring of death ONLY related to 031 or it was also on other FW???

just upgraded to 031 (from 038) via SEUS - will see what's gonna happen - if I have BROD again, I'll stay with 038 until new FW is released

yes u can cos the connector allowes u to put different headphones in, the headphones on the samsung are moulded into the connector so u cant use standard headphones

Sell your K850, get another phone, start living your life.

I was, until recently, a K850 owner/user. Eventually got fed up of reading page after page after page of guesses, predictions and hopes here. And we all know how useless it is waiting for Sonys firmware.

Since sold the phone and now have no reason to look here and it feels like a huge weight has been lifted. I've got my life back. I recommend to everyone not happy with their K850 the same, get rid and start living your life. Tim.

I never had any bug with the K850 but if the BROD is present in all FW,it's really scary!

cwh060 thanks fot the reply,

would you be able to go into the Proxy Settings tab and look under the Proxy server tab (multiple) that is where you will find the info i am looking for

if you could get me the settings for:

HTTP
Username:
Password:
Proxy Address:
Port:

Secure
Username:
Password:
Proxy Address:
Port:

Streaming
Username:
Password:
Proxy Address:
Port:

for the Go Rogers, Rogers Internet, and Rogers Media settings categories you would be my hero.

Thanks in advance

This really is NOT the thread for this. All the information you requested is in the Bacanito Canada thread. You're just not understanding what your looking at is there. SO ...

GO ROGERS

HTTP
Username: NONE
Password: NONE
Proxy Address: 010.128.001.069
Port: 80

Secure (ALL BLANK)
Username:
Password:
Proxy Address:
Port:

Streaming (ALL BLANK)
Username:
Password:
Proxy Address:
Port:

Basic field just before you get to the above is Proxy = ON
Same for ALL Servers = OFF
Proxy Servers = Multiple (which gets you to the above information you're asking).

Rogers Internet
Proxy = ON
Same of All Servers = OFF
Proxy Servers = Multiple
HTTP: username/pw = NONE
Proxy Address: 10.128.1.69
port: 80

Secure = all blank
Streaming = All blank.

PS did you even try my suggestion mentioning going to SE's site and having it pushed to your phone??

Just what EXACTLY are you TRYING to accomplish?! Seems like you're trying to get a third party application for streaming video & radio on demand working on your flashed Rogers K850i phone, am I right?!
