guys feels very sad that your p990i has lot of bugs and its not stable but touchwood my p990i is damn fast, stable, and dosnt takes time to load and also 1gb mc works awsome... no bugs no hangs nothing i feel sad for those who had to sell but truly se disappointed by not selling the same quality of p990i to everyone.
anyways can any1 tell me how to change those 4 icons in flip mode open ?

yeah m using 1gb ms pro duo and firmware RC5A006
ok i just came across that few people are waiting for opera 8.0 uiq 3.0 but the default web in p990i is opera 8.0 just click on about and you will come to know

So you are using the firmware that came with your phone? RC5A006 is that the organizer firmware??

well surprise ,surprise of course the p990 is a problem child of SE that how it took so long to be concieved.Sorry for all those experiancing difficulties i know the headaches one gets when the device is not up to scratch,and the price on the p990 just rubs salt to the wounds.But to be fair to SE everyone was well awre of the reason for its delay and most pple know that some issues had not been cleared out ,therefore the only way u would buy one was if u are/were prepared to overlook some of its annoying bugs and faults.I for one decided on a 3 month wait and see period after which i could either buy it or look for another-but having looked at the range of programs available to this phone and the amount of time it would take to have new ones done on an with the phone platform not so stable and the severe limitations in its video playback modes and a host of other factors -i have decide Trinity will be the way to go until SE release the next pxxx phone

I got my p990 last week, I just love it ..... I found one way that will make your p990 very fast & it's very simple ...
1. go to the task manager & close all ap.
2. go to the Media Player & chose Video.
3. play any of your video.
4. keep it playing & go to the main Menu by the back button.
Then just try your device & it will amaze you

amazingly this works! the menus are so much faster. I guess it's something to do with the gfx chip. The video maybe kicks it into actions somehow or it takes some strain off the cpu and hence the phone is faster.

Got m3100, its awesome, few probs but nothing like the trouble I had with my P910!! Handwriting recognition isnt quite as good as the p910 and it doesnt come with a memory stick but the supplied case is much better than the crap SE shipped with the p910!!
Can recommend it!
However just out of curiosity I will still pick up the P990 in a month or so just to compare!
