@jmash: The P990 won't be the first

to have DRM. All the phones from the K750 onwards feature some level of copy protection.

@Rhino8: Hopefully your girlfriend is reading this pledge of fidelity.
Haven't heard anything about Virgin, not expecting them to come with fireworks...speaking of Cell C, they've got their 3G/HSDPA network on trial.

Gotta stop talking about girlfriends and virgins. Yikes. As far as i'm concerned, a woman with looks is more trouble than she's worth. Rather have real quality than aesthetics. I'm out...

The Z530i has already experienced a price drop here. It's now available from Carphonewarehouse's unlocked/sim-free PAYG stock for £69.95 (approx R820) when bought with £10 airtime, this offer only valid/subsidised when taking a 'free' Orange sim with the package:

@Rhino8: My guess is R4500 on release with a gradual decrease around Christmas.
Just got an email from the WirelessMonkey( still remember him?) Well he's excited this morning coz the guys at Multichoice are sending him the Sagem MYtv (their DVB-H) handset, this means that I'll probably get my grubby paws on it as well and give some feedback on DVB-H...it should be better then Mobile TV.
