I dunno, I don't make avatars, thats a job for laffen

@Dicky Snapples, where did you order yours from? so far I have only paid £256.89 delivered which I am pretty happy with considering I was prepared to pay the Expansys price until they delayed it again

I copied some music to the music folder on the memory stick and was surprised to find that the music player did not automatically find it!

instead, you have to choose "more", then "update music" at which point it scans and finds new stuff

also, I'm getting flashback to the P800 when it keep losing GPRS connection and so shows "GPRS detached". I do see 3g signal sometimes but I'm in a fringe area.

anyway, to correct that one I have to go to flight mode and then back to phone mode to regain GPRS/3g connection, and it always comes back right away suggesting there wasn't really a problem in the first place

anyone else seen that?

I think you have. I didn't check the price for the black version as I wanted white - turns out the white one was £60 more! However, I really did want white! Plus, I think its worth £400 as I believe I've finally found a phone/pda which works - been through P800, Treo, Jam and O2Exec!

mine is white I'm glad I chose that now but it was my choice anyway as I didn't like the black. I don't understand why it should be more expensive in UK though

@smilerthe cheshirecat, thanks, I hadn't read the media player part in the manual fully but yep, there it is. thanks!

@masseur, not spotted any issues with connections. I use T-mobile I think you use Vodafone from previous posts. But I am not impressed with 3G performance as yet, but will try again when I am in London where the coverage is very good. When the HTC Universal (jasjar) was launched I found I had many connections and disconnections with Vodafone but with my XDA Exec (with a newer firmware) O2 connections seemed more stable.

yeah, I'm with vodafone but I've not had such issues with the T610, K700, K750 or for that matter, the V800 when I had it.

I've only ever seen this on the P series, till now.

I will also be checking out the 3g performance en-route to work in London on Monday

btw, I do like the M600 but as an avid windows mobile user I'm keep clicking on the screen and holding the stylus expecting a menu to appear (similar to right clicking in windows) but it seems this is still lacking in UIQ 3
