Yeah i did realise that which why i have said i need to wait till i am actually better and spending more time out of the House for it to be worthwhile. @Marc, Glad you're back posting ... in a mature thread.
The 8707 although an old model does use a Qualcomm 3G (UMTS only) chipset so there in London if Vodafone still offers it you can maybe get an older model on the cheap just to get your feet wet. But first get healthy, fresh air and recenter your chi.
if you really prefer 3G HSDPA, you may have to wait until summer or September before it debuts. But we're still unsure on this hopefully sooner than later.
