@Caspa, pay attention that is a P990, that normally has less RAM available than a M600 or a W950

Second, ajack´s P990 is a prototype, and has 4mb less in total RAM than our comercial unit´s

Then you just have to experiment in a normal P990 to put Opera, Aquacalendar, Messaging, RSS reader (plus open screen capture and sman) running at the same time - its impossible! Even in M600 i have my doubts, you can try it.

With ajack´s p990 and r6, he can do all that, and still has something like 2,4mb RAM free. In our case, it would be 6,4mb, because we have more total RAM, like i explained

One more thing, the Web application was checking ajack´s e-mail on Yahoo and RSS was taking 11 feeds. At the same time, he was sending an e-mail with attachment and was using wi-fi for my internet connection. So, the apps were not just loaded, and more RAM was being used

Sorry dude, I know its a P990, just wasnt 100% sure that I was seeing what I was seeing!!!

Just did a similar test on my M600, thats Messaging, Web, RSS Feeds and Exchange Activesync in lieu of AquaCalender and I have 4.2mb left!

So yes, I definately see the improvement!!!

I checked with SMAN and it reported that I have in total 61MB NOT 64MB. Please check this to confirm.

If ajack has the R6 fw why not ask him if he also has the Symbian 9.3 and then we don't have to 'guess' anymore if or not...
