voda would have branded it any way, no?
if so, id rather a network with little or no branding, ie, o2 for uk
Perhaps they would but I could have got it on a free upgrade as I'm overdue one with Vodafone so that's what rules it out for me personally.

If it's anything like the M600, P990 etc (which it is) any firmware branding can be taken off very easily, so that's not really an issue. I'd much rather have it on Voda since (a) it's the best network IMO, and (b) it would have been a cheap/free upgrade for me.

but it would have the voda logo? well the m600 on voda did here. i know the p990 didnt there.
i just dont like branding, dont want to have to go through the hassle of debranding it. just buy it like that and your all settled

all settled... and about £200 lighter! The voda sticker on my M600 doesn't bother me in the slightest, it was only the software that was a pain, and that's long gone now. I think it's well worth getting a subsidised phone if you can, as long as the firmware can be changed.

Sorry, but this particular on-line store only deals within Sweden. Still it is useful to see what approx. price level/range the P1 will be. Often a lot of on-line places charge too much when taking pre-orders.
Shop around, hopefully you will find a similar price in the UK. Else just wait until it is released and it should drop quickly to this level.

anyone noes when is it coming out.......
That's my question as well.....Why is it taking so long? I'm dyeing for a new UIQ smartphone from Se.......
why would you want to support someone who abandon's the support to its devices under warranty and at the end their customers... i will never buy another Sony ericsson phone again for my IT Clients or even recommend it to any dept under my building and i cover 32stories and replacement rate of smartphones here is avg of 5months, least. I am now looking into Nokia N series or Blackberry products for the upcoming project.

Yeah, SE's attitude towards the P990 users makes me wonder how long the P1 will be supported. My guess is when the first Symbian 9.5 devices appear, the P1 will quickly follow in the steps of the P990 and the M600... RIP...
