Just updated via SEUS on PC to 037. I'm on Orange UK. Flash synch is ok now. Haven't had any other problems as yet, although didn't have too many with 029 except for flash, occasional freezing and slowness. Fingers crossed....
Also, regarding the shutter/sound thing, in silent mode my phone is 'silent'!

Some phones wouldn't update to 037 before now. Such as Vodafone branded ones. That's why these people think it's new. It's old to us O2 branded K850i's and others.

@pakzal, nice to see you, mine is same yours 'cause I bought this from BellCompany.
Mine also there is no update available at this moment. And I didn't have any problem
like many others such as flash sync nor shutter sound etc... what about yours?
I'm worrying because I saw many people who upgrade firmware 029 to 037 said this
firmware has other problems like memory issue...

Shutter still has the sounds on mine too even in silent.
