Sony is a professional company with compassion and passion, but their not clowns. You don't see spelling mistakes on their pamphlets that ship with their phones in the box do you? Surely their originally note written in over 13 languages in the countries their shipped and sold in. Catch my drift?!

Genuine question, please don't take offence, but did you intentionally replace all the instances of "there" and "they're" with "their" in this paragraph? Sarcasm doesn't travel through written text.

Actually no I didn't intend to but auto correct on BlackBerry horribly sucks it is all over the map (on my bb it would auto correct "it's all over the map/wap")

Not trolling - I've been on the boards a LOT longer than you have (originally Prometheus, Prometheus_1 or similar, then Prom1, now Supa_Fly).

but to put a better answer to clarify your uncertainty about whether or not I'm trolling, as a wise man once said ...

oh look Android N added split screen multi tasking, just when I am about to give up on Sony implementing their own REAL multitasking solution. Lets hope Z5 still get Android N update in 2017!

That information was before Sony announced the end of Z series. That is why I keep going back to my question to all of you on this forum: Is the IFA2016 Sony flagship going to be the Xperia X2 or will it have different Xperia brand name? Someone from this forum, please answer this...

nobody except sony mobile employees can answer your question. But if i had to guess I would say they will announce the next line of flagship devices under the same Xperia X brand (X1/X1 Performance). Timeframe: Q3/Q4 2016

However, Mr Mesa(Sony Mobile US) told AndroidPIT.com that the X Performance wasn’t so closely aligned with the Z series. “[The X series] is a different line,” he said. “It comes down to a design philosophy. We’re looking at how to focus on intelligent aspects with these devices as how to evolve the notion of communication.”
When asked directly whether the X Performance would replace the Z series, Mr Mesa said: “The Z series is not going away. We want to make it clear.” He then pointed to an X Performance unit in front of him and said, “that is not the Z.”

Sony Mobile ROOF Hello Sarah, a Z6 will not exist. The new X series is under a modified concept that meets the needs of our users even more accessible. You can login course still rely on the latest technology in our smartphones - which has nothing to do with the name. smile emoticon Regards, your Sony team.

A Sony spokesperson has confirmed to Android Authority that there will be no Xperia Z6 even as the Facebook post mentioned below has been edited to remove mention of the Z6. Furthermore, it was also hinted that the Xperia XA “might” replace the M4 Aqua’s successor as well, meaning that the Xperia M series might also be subsumed under the new X banner. Meanwhile, although the X series isn’t advertised as having an IP rating, Sony claims it will still withstand splashes and short submersions, although the company will no longer advertise the fact or repair water-damaged devices under warranty.
