Why is the H so important? It stands for Handset right?
Digital Video Broadcasting is in testing but approved by ICASA
Im playing with one, kinda cool little thing, aerials at the bottom for some reason
Looks like a cheap portable radio

The H stands for Handheld. Could you please give us a mini review?
More on DVB, it's the digital successor to analogue television. You get variants like DVB-T for terrestrial tv and DVB-S for satellite tv like DSTV.

Ok I didnt get to play with it for long, watch a couple channels, very cool EXCELLENT video quality, beautiful screen for a Sagem
Its seems to be DSTV branded on the start up screen.
Its got all the std features, SD card support, 1.3MP cam, decent menus.
Easy to use... Got reception quite easily with that cheap aerial.
What else? Im not much of a review person...

Seems like I'll have to do this myself...according to the WirelessMonkey, there's a DVB-H transmitter right at the top of my building so if I get to handle the phone in the next couple of days I'll give it a proper review. The WirelessMonkey seems to be excited, going on about how DVB-H is so much better then streaming Mobile TV.

@Rhino8: No mate, streaming is a waste of bandwidth. There's a lot more applications in store with DVB-H like interactive menus.
What I'd like is an applications that allows me to synch my PVR at home with my phone, almost like to remind me whenever a show/genre that I'm interested in is being shown on tv. The PVR would need to be GSM-enabled with it's own simcard.
From my phone I'd simply go into the application, set my PVR to record the show and send the instructions via SMS. That should be cool coz I've never got time to check tv schedules, or the time to sit down to watch tv for an hour...enjoyed Survivor though the other night.

Well, tv is a luxury, i hardly have time for it these days, and yes, i agree streaming is a waste especially since we got the cheapest bandwidth in the world @ 1000 odd times more expensive than the UK
