Firefreak: it's not a fake pic; you can see it's from mobilmania.cz and it was taken from gsmarena's k750/w800 preview, months before those two models were released (read: pre-release firmware)
Must have been WAY before release then... I tried a prototype atleast 6 months before release and it didn't have the camera option either...

The starter of the thread is me, and I do keep it up to date with any useful information I get from the contents of the thread or from other sources. Take a look at the first post
In terms of that is the best firmware. I would say:
1. R1BC002 (sorts pretty much all problems)
2. R1L002 (great apart from the lower video quality)
3. R1A044 (The first firmware, which was very good if you had a phone which didn't crash every few days)

How does battery life compare between R1L002 and R1BC002?
My experience is that R1L002 had twice the battery life of R1AA008 on my K750. If I could do it for free, I would go back to R1L002 just because of that. R1BC002 is not out yet for my CDA

I wouldn't say that the battery life is that much different. R1N035 introduced improved reception that came at a slight expense of battery life. However, I have had most firmwares and would say that the difference is fairly minimal. My guess is the difference in battery life is no more than 15%. I personally have not really noticed a change.

@mwarner
I agree with your battery assumption - I have noticed a drop in battery performance as the phone has aged - the battery has needed recharged every day due to listening to MP3 at work. I think this loss of battery performance is what may be an issue here.

Hi! I was wondering whether anyone could help me with the following problem:
I am running the Update Service S/W (Version 2.6.4.9) and once I have chosen the location and the screen with the START/EXIT buttons appears, I cannot select START but only EXIT!
Any hints? I have the latest Macromedia Flash Player (ver.

installed.
Please do drop a line if you know how to solve this!
Thanks

Anyone else noticed this glitch in the new firmware? I've got the k750i on o2 and recently updated the firmware but now, if i receive an SMS from a number i do not have stored in my phonebook (sim or phone), then i go to try and save it by going to "More ->> Use Number ->> Save Number" my phone reboots and does not save the number. The only way i can save the number is by dialling the number and hanging up before it starts ringing then saving it from the Calls List. Neither my sim memory or phone memory are anywhere near full. I've tried going to "More ->> Details ->> More" from the text message but the phone still reboots after letting me choose which contact i would like to add the number to. This has happened with 3 different numbers and 3 different contacts that i have tried.
