I just thought since the phone is the source of most problems, windows may provide a cleaner format. Sometimes devices add crap to it after format, as part of the format. I thought avoiding that maybe the key in some of the crashes.

found a bug on my k850 that i just got back,
the camera lens wont open when i want it , i solved it
by taking out the battery, but now it still occuring

what should i do to get it back open again
and anyone with the same problem, how did you solve it?

i just got it repaired today
im sure its just software though, since it works some times (and some times not)

If its software then some if not most would experience that bug, but thats the first time I hear the shutter not opening when it needs to.

First, precisely what you read is a fix that is now current in the 31 which I assume you have, so in turn, you should not have it according to your own post.

Second, even if thats the bug that you are talking about, what you said "the camera lens wont open when i want it" does not equate to "...lens cover opening when the camera was turned on in "silde show" mode (camera switch under play position)". It's not supposed to open when you are viewing pictures.

The startup and shutdown and all the menus are no different to any of the other K850i (Blue and Green)

Regarding the ring tones
I cant delete
Sony Ericsson, Distant, Camera, KrrrrrBeep, Cosmic, Vibration, Plutonium

Mr RSS Feeds are agin the same as the Blue and Green K850i. I have deleted the ones i dont one and place the ones i do want.

I will try to get a good pic of the phone in daylight

Thanks. I cannot delete the same ringtones either, but MANY ppl here have branded phones (me = Rogers Wireless, No TrackID, No RSS Feeds) that have been UNbranded (yet some files either copied or retained onto the M2 card). Not everybody formatted their M2 when flashing or right after. I'm just curious if anyone or a lot of us have the same jpeg/gif or ringtone many are popular and we share them.

O2 in the UK are extremely good to leave the phones branding alone.

All they do is put a O2 logo in the menu where play now should be and startup and shutdown logo.

Other than that its unlocked and not branded.

I have took some photos to try and help
