LOL @ da brixsta, yeah..punters camping outside CPW stores on Tuesday night in unprecedented anticipation for the doors to open at 9am Wednesday, to be the first with the W700 and before the initial batches are sold out within minutes.... not.
BTW, was amazed to see such an upset for Mexico (currently ranked 4th in the world) last night when Angola (later reduced to 10 men) held on for a goal-less draw in the World Cup.
Angola's goalkeeper must've earned the man-of-the-match award...

@ rhino8,
I can fully appreciate your feelings about cellphone price drops, but such is the nature of the cellphone industry beast.
I have many times bought handsets when there has been a significant price drop, only to see another few price drops for the same handsets after a few more weeks/months.
And this trend will continue; one has to try and be content with what you paid for a handset ie. that you were prepared to pay that amount when bought, otherwise one will keep kicking one's self for not holding out a bit longer.
If I moped about every handset price drop that I missed out on, or where I could've benefitted by holding out longer for a specific phone, I would be a rather miserable and depressed individual, particularly as I try to be quite a bargain hunter to minimise such losses.
Think of all the enjoyment you've had with the phone from when you bought it, compared to if you had just bought it now. Yes you've paid more to get the phone when you did, but look at it from a 'carpe diem' point of view, swaer.

A 21 year-old tried to hijack an SAA plane this morning flying from Cape Town to Jozi, when he tried to threaten a stewardess with what looked like a knife a couple of people in the plane wrestled him after which he was arrested...the plane flying back to Cape Town.

Everyone is staying tightlipped about the young fella.
I can't imagine anyone ever trying to hijack a plane in South Africa..would like to see him when he appears in court on Monday.

That young chap definitely was high on crack. Tring to hijack a plane with a KNIFE???
If I had a W800, I'd probably get the housing of the W700 and fit it on. The Champagne gold colour actually looks better than the white of the W800

@amby: It has emerged that he is a Zimbabwean and that he tried to hijack the plane with a hyperdermic needle not a knife. Three passengers managed to wrestle him and the plane flew back to Cape Town.
