For all P990 experienced users, I'm a newbie here, does your phone pause music playback and ring your assigned ringtone during an incoming call, as mine just beeps and vibrate without pausing music playback, i hate this feature, is there a way to change it, please!!!

It's also useful to read the manual, cause every shortcut I've seen described is in the manual. And yes I know that some of you guys are allergic to userguides.....

For those who are interested the HCH-64 car holder now appears to be available from a couple of places: The SE Store (UK), L8shop.net/Blueunplugged.com.

I bought myself a P910i as I gave my old one to a friend about 18 months ago. I wanted to understand the differences between this wonderful device and the P990. After about half an hour I would say that what SE seem to have done is to try to make the P990 less like a 'computer' and more accessible and simpler to use. It is too early to draw too many conclusions except that my view that the P990 should not have had a "P" prefix as it is not a development of the P910 it is a different kind of device. Which tells me that SE should release a P950 which would have been a real development of the P910. And meny people I suspect would have been happy with UIQ 2.1 on 2.5G & EDGE. Hmm...

Sony Ericsson customer service gets a beating in the Register: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2006/10/13/poor_p990_support/

@mlittle

noticed how The Register never mention hardware problems with the HTC TyTN? Many of us have returned 2 or 3 TyTNs. If The Register were really that concerned I think they would have sought out senior SE people rather than using a web site email address (agree that it does not give a good impression of SE's support though). The Register is not the most objective commentator - they are more about getting an 'effect'. Also their 'journalists' don't have too many ethics as I found out when one of them posted my real name without my permission at My-symbian.

you mean Jah is not your real name (first , middle and last name combined)?

So: J = first name
a = middle
h = last

@DevilHell

sorry to go off topic, but you'd appreciate what "jah" refers to if you grew-up in North London or Jamaica (look-up "irie" while you are searching)
