last may, nanakaw ung fone ng sis ko (actually, that fone was my mom's for almost 2 years before she passed away last march) pinagkatiwala ko ung fone sa sis ko (including my mom's sim) tapos nanakaw nga after 2months na gamit ng sis ko. after that, everytime id call that number, nagriring pa din. sa madaling salita, ginagamit pa yng sim ni mama and sometimes magtetext pa ung number sa mga classm8s ng sis ko para magpa-pasa load (kapal noh), i would always text my mom's number din para kunsensyahin sya na isoli yng sim ng mom ko, i don't care about the fone na nga e, bulok na 3310 na nga un e, ung sim lng ng mom ko (for 2 years un ung number ng mom ko), never sya nagreply till one time tinawagan ko, mga september un, sinagot nya, he's just a teenager (malamang nga classmate ng sis ko dahil sa school nanakaw ung fone nya sa loob mismo ng bag nya) tapos sabi nya, ndi nya daw ninakaw ung fone. may nagbigay lng daw ng sim sa kanya(whatever). so i told him na sim nga ng mom ko un na pumanaw na and im willing to replace it basta isauli lng ung sim ng mom ko. and he agreed. i made a deal to meet him the next day pero inindyan ako ng &*%^&$#^& un. when i tried to call him, naka-off na ung fone. for 1 week ive been trying to call pero wala na tlaga. that time ive decided to let go. sabi ko baka tinapon na yung sim. since my mom passed away im still holding on to the things that was hers...including that simcard. im still in the stage of denial. im trying to preserve those things na inaassociate ko sa mom ko. pero that time, sabi ko it was a sign that i have to let go.
BUT then....just a while ago im having this senti nanaman since this is the first christmas and new year without my mom. ni-try ko tawagan ulit yung number nya....shit! nag-ring nanaman. i don't know why but i started to shiver and cry. ndi ako makapaniwala na ginagamit pa rin nya ung sim after all that. till now i cant stop crying, i dont know why! sana tinapon na lng nya ung sim. ndi ko naman mapigilan sarili ko na ndi na tawagan ung number...It was my mom's number for christ sake!
malamang iniisip nyo ang-OA ko dba pero ndi ko din alam bakit e. super naiinis ako. ndi ko lam gagawin ko. ni-text ko sya ulit sabi ko "wow, i cant believe ur still using my late mom's sim. whenever i try to call that number, kinikilabutan ako but ndi ako makapaniwala na naaatim mo gamitin ang bagay na galing sa nakaw, at ndi lng basta nakaw, ung may ari nyan patay na. makunsensya ka naman, bagong taon na. isauli mo na yang sim sa amin, ppalitan ko naman. ndi mo lng naiintindihan kung gano kasakit nararamdaman ko everytime u use that sim. sana wag mo ntayin na may mamatay din sana sa pamilya mo para maramdaman mo din"
sa totoo lng, natatawa na naiinis ako sa sarili ko for making it a big deal. magkano lng naman ang sim-card...pero....EWAN! kung ndi nya itatapon ung sim na un, gusto ko pa rin mabawi talaga.
