If u cant acess wifi or dont have internet from your provider, u can search for GPS signal (sattelite) without asisstance. I takes a few minutes but its working. Even if u have internet acess u can switch off asissted start to save some cash.

Now it makes it more logic!
Imagine using Sports Trackers while skiing or jogging with internet only
I hope that the accuweather app will be updated with better gfx like on S60 and iphones

I dont understand why people hate the phone so much. The phone might break with one fault... but sony fix it 100% free! why complain, i would be annoyed if they just said its not our fault like some rouge builder!

Time to say goodbye to the faulty C905's?
I am looking at the SE W995 - 8MP bigger screen perhaps better than the C905?
Sony Ericsson Idou - 12mp, Touch screen?
Samsung omnia hd - 8MP with HD video recorder.
Which of these is the bets one to go for? If the W995 comes out quick I could consider that not really a fan of walkman phones do SE plan any other 8MP/Wi-fi handsets with the Cybershot brand?
Any other suggestions on a possible C905 replacement? It must be 8MP, good flash, wi-fi.

Dude the Idou and W995 will not be available before this summer!!
The C905 is a very nice phone,of course if you want to compare it to next gen phones that will come after 6 months it's not as good

People just want a phone that works. I'm not saying that there is not a chance to get a lemon when something is being mass produced, but the defect rate is rather high for the C905.

99% of the nokiu 5800xm produced between december and january have the earpiece problem, but nokia customers didnt make it a catastrophy like c905 users...Also c905 produced after week 45 dont have earpiece problem

I have a theory about the c905 dodgy speaker/earpiece syndrome which ties in with it apparently happening after a software upgrade. When you flash the phone you have to hold down the [c] button for about 10 to 20 seconds. On the c905 the softkeys are not the most responsive and (personally) I held it down quite hard after which the earpiece was dead. Could it be that the dodgy componment is under the [c] key? This would make more sense if the mic was faiiling but it's not far-fetched to think they're connected is it?
By the way - any sign of the Westen Europe upgrade?
