There is a slight drop in photo quality compared to the older Mini's. But it's really not a huge difference. Just slightly less details. For most everyday photography it's fine just when zoomed in they lack details. But file size is no different between old & new Mini's.

I was online & seen your post & having had both phones before I could answer. But the Mini pro is still an excellent device & if you try you can get decent images from it. They look more grainy on here but better on my HD monitor
That's Mini Pro

Photo quality looks okay for the device especially if the new price range is correct. Seems the same as the x10 mini really.

Hey Bono, I have a question:
You had both Ray and Mini Pro, right? Is the diference between photos' quality huge?
For night pictures, does Ray do much better than Mini Pro?
Thanks buddy

Absolutely yes. The Ray was a surprise to me with an excellent camera especially in bright sunlight. Best of the new breed of the Xperia bunch imo. There is a few pics from the Ray uploaded in photos section I took.

well u can tell from the subtle clock and unlock bar! its Xperia...but its the only one which would be let you unlock in landscape mode! when the keyboard is out! (i guess the pro can do that as well) but since this res is HVGA...its only one phone...the mini pro!!! just got 2.3.4 and was trying out the screenshot facility!

Since the Pro isn't out, the mini pro is still the onliest Xperia with that ability.
