i had the same problem too when it came to reloads
the lead smeared through the barrel, and take note, i only used 50 rounds of reloads..
i tried to clean it with WD 40 but it was just too tiring...
anyway, i recently learned that "scotch brite" would do the trick
yes the thing you use for cleaning the dishes
just cut it into strips and rub away through the barrel
*note: do not use scotch brite on the outer part of the barrel as this may lead to scratches on it.
then insert a clean cloth with wd 40 to clean all the lead residue away..
that's how i did it before..
