Just called SE here in Sweden and as mentioned the fiwmware online is R2L.

The latest firmware, R2AA is available at SE service centres

Its name (HL1_pg_K700CDA102298/38CID29RED_f_041015_0705_3 ) is similar to the file stored in the software-data directory of SEUS.

And the end of the filename probably is a date...

There is a lot of things that I cant explain but I am only quoting what SE CS said to me when I called this afternoon.
I had a typo in my last post - the latest firmware available at SE centres is R2AE

I find it very strange that they say online that it is R2AA this morning. (that is if I read the log correctly). Its seems to be a miss by their CS when I rang. btw where are you from?

In that case I need to get my k700 updated

Not that is the matter where I'm from, but that my mobile belongs to EU_1 EMEA_4. So in Sweden SE US will say the same for you at update.
