How exactly does the davinci team manage to get firmware before SEUS releases it?

probably one of them has a contact who is an official SE service centre. They are normally issued with new firmware releases much sooner than they are released on SEUS.

Flashing is the process of putting new firmware on your phone - it is so-called because the firmware is stored on flash memory. Debranding is removing the stuff that certain phone companies put into the handset's interface (Vodafone Live! for example).

They purchase access to it. Anyone can do it. Have enough cash and access is yours. Why do you think they charge for it?
It is not magic.

hey guys, I just flashed my K750, and it worked fine, with Davinci, with DCU-60...but the flash didn't unlock the phone, is that right? it shouldn't unlock?? it's just an update of firmware, or what??

just flashing does not unlock the phone
dcu60 does not support the unlocking
flashing debrands/brands, removes/introduces bugs, adds/removes features in the phone
