Can you still associate a pic with a contact?

I'm not sure about earlier versions, but yes, you can do this on all WM 6.x devices.

Hi there,

To answer some of your questions:
1. yes I'm sure you can, but being busy at work, I've not had much time with my new X1, so maybe one of the others can help. If not I'll find out and tell you later.

2. I already answered that one on the same page (393) as your original question - just scroll up

5. Already answered also on top of page 390.

I'm sure others will chip in with help on your other questions.

Is there a way to transfer contacts from k800i to experia, I tried to send all by bluetooth but it didnt work, I cant send 1 by 1 becoz i have got nearly 400 contacts. Then i tried using my computer i uploaded the contacts on my address book but i cant seem to send it to my experia becoz i need ot have microsoft outlook which i dont have, any other way?

Had the same issue, it is a pain that Windows Mobile doesn't allow multiple Bluetooth sends, as my P990 allows me to send and receive multiple via bluetooth!

Anyway easy fix do the following:
0. Ensure your k800i is paired via bluetooth with your computer
1. Download & install Outlook Express (available free)
2. Import into Outlook Express
3. Open Address Book in Outlook Express
4. Select all contacts, right click -> Action, send to Bluetooth -> your k800i
5. Once sent - re-order address book (firstname, lastname) using program, as answered in your previous thread.

Hope that helps.

I am still waiting to get my hands on the Xperia - was a bit hesitant after my P990 experience but the positive comments have almost convinced me that SE finally got it right - with a little help from HTC and Microsoft!

I have been contemplating getting the HTC Touch Pro or waiting for the HTC Touch HD mainly because of their cool interface but the guys at XDA-Developers have ported the TouchFlo3D GUI to the Xperia and it apparently works like a charm! Those interested can check out the thread on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=428351&page=9. Exciting stuff this is!

@pinguino2

thanks for that.

Throw me a harder question. This is too easy

OK I need Chinese and Japanese support for email, web and need to have input too. CE-Star has it's limitations. Asukal's cabs do too and hard buttons are often disabled.

Question for you is, what do you recommend to get perfect Japanese and Chinese input? Download sites and any registry edits would be useful too.

OH! man, that's a hard question you are throwing at me. Out of my league.
I have a rule If I don't know I don't guess.

But I'm sure we have some people here that will show you the way (if it's any).
@ALL,
Can we help Ofiaich?

.

Hi pinguino2!

I like hard questions !

don't worry all! I was just hoping for something better, with better fonts! Also no need for registry edits !

I will post here or at XDA-Developers if I find anything!

Thanks for that, looks like a good site.

I'm going to have a play around today, just haven't looked into at all due to the good olde work commitments, suppose we all have to work sometime, lol.

My initial guess is sms & alarm tones will have to be in particular music format to work (e.g. .wav or .wma - being Windows after all), and reside in the correct sounds folder. Certain use to be the case with older mobiles like my t68i.

I send the contacts details on my N95 to X1 using bluetooth. First I select all the contacts then make sure the phones r pair together then select sent and there was no problem at all.

Does anyone know of a finance tracking application, similar to Quicken or MS Money, available for WM?

Thanks

This has probably been answered before, but i missed it. Does the english version of xperia come with any memory included? The swedish version has a 4gb memory card in the box, but the german version does not.
