@volvoman. Vodafone firmware update should go live within one week, according on Jon on the eForum.

Cheers for that hope it is correct as my orange one has been using wifi and calls so far and still at 100% seems the battery issue is fixed, will know more by the end of the day.

seems quicker, mediscape and timescape are allot quicker, general menu speed seems quicker, apps seem to open quicker, but in general the whole phone feels better to use, hard to describe but things just seem to work and respond quicker.

Can not wait until voda finally release their update.

A little warning to Android users.
When I copied my music from my old phone to X10, all folders included album art which was subsequently listed in Mediascape in individual sub-folders. An annoying amount of sub-folders, that is! To eliminate this problem I found a solution where an empty file (.nomedia) is saved in those folders which I didn't wanted to be categorized in Mediascape. This solution is flawed as a bug within the firmware then lists the media as removed and therefore deletes any .jpg and .gif content of that folder. So if you do not want to lose any of your images, please be aware not use this method.

Big downside to the update is I now have issues with wifi. Phone keeps disconnecting from wifi.
