I'm interested in getting this phone, The only thing that puts me off is whether Sony Ericsson will keep on updating the phone, After all they abandoned the Satio, How do we know that they won't do the same with this phone?
Will it definitely be getting Android 2.1 and HD video recording in the UK in September?
Also would you recommend the phone? Is it much better than the Satio? I still have my Satio at the moment but thinking of upgrading to this one.
Also what is the picture quality like and what is the photo light like?
Thank you.

it will get 2.1 and HD video, photolight is a standard led, not good, not bad.
the main reson to change is the android OS and i love the design.
check the photo thred for sample pictures taken by esato users

The track ID is working awsome.
new icon notification for e-mail
e-mails can be sent faster (previously not so fast). incoming e-mails has always been very quick. I get e-mails first on my X10 and then on imail (mac) which is suprising to me cause I always thought imail was very quick. Nice isn't it?
will update you guys about battery tomorrow as I want to use everything and know how the battery is like.
besides that X10 is working Flawless
Whoever is happy with the new firmware, please take sometime to appreciate and thank SE on their blog for this great job trust me a phone like this needs a good firmware and better version of android which is on its way.
I'll make your job easier if you want to comment

if you're talking about changing firmware using SEUS, the method doesn't work anymore...

has changed something in SEUS...

Just updated my debranded/unlocked originally Rogers X10a via SEUS...
I now have Build # R2BA020.
Can't wait to see how things have changed
UPDATE:
First thing I've noticed: Some pictures in mediascape which before, would be clear and fill up the screen (now "auto fit") are now a little blurry and are only crisp when I select "original size". Anybody else notice this?
It's strange...
