Please Rhino, don't tell me you don't watch the news. Don't you have your own tv?

Hmmm.... I'll be watching out for glimpses of Pollsmoor Prison on OBE's African News tonight.

Wanna go to the local Carphonewarehouse this weekend and see if they have a demo K800i for me to play with.

How's life with the N70 so far, brixster?

@da wanqsta: Life with the N70 is a tad bit slow but much more practical than my P910. In all honesty I found the P910 more user-friendly. It might be that the jogdial was such a practical way of browsing through the menus. The downside was always going to be the touchscreen and it's size, otherwise it was a perfect device. On the N70 I find battery life quite good because I'm on 3G most of the day and listen to the radio when I'm walking down the street.

Literally just missed taking a pic with the SPV C550 of a fully-grown fox in our back yard earlier tonight. It quickly scampered up onto the shed's roof and into the overgrown neighbour's rear garden.
They're incredibly elusive, even for their size, and agile, and make a bloody mess if the black garbage bags are out and contain any morsels of food. Prime scavengers and they seem to be very 'street-wise', adapting well to urban life it seems.
Sly, as the simile so aptly describes them.
Roald Dahl's 'Fantastic Mr. Fox' comes to mind...

Funny though, with this country's different fauna, if you go out into the countryside there's no worry about ticks (many Poms don't know what these are!),scorpions and venomous snakes at all, compared to some of the close encounters I had with these in SA, but that's a different story for another time.

ROLMAO@Rhino, no mate you definitely don't carry your tv around but maybe I'm missing some of your social dynamic...No offense but why do you have to watch tv over at your girlfriend's house where her father is in charge of the remote?

@jmash: Enjoy your time off from the office. Is that paternity leave? Anyone know how I can also get paternity leave without actually being a father. Could I perhaps get off work if my cat delivers a litter?

Just saw the ads for Vigin Mobile in my local newspaper and have to say their deals look quite impressive?

quick question, how do you guys stay informed? My favourite ways used to be CNN, until BBC came around. For an all-round information pool party add Time magazine to that, then you get the poms and the yanks, which helps for inernational news. My local news I usually get from the posters next to the road. No, not 'Son'. Which reminds me, has anybody ever read anything in "the daily sun"? My word, it is like someone dug up reporters from pre-evolution, got them working again, and told them to report on anything they find interresting! The best investment those people can ever make is to get Office, and enable the spell-check...
