Can anybody recommend a good calender app please. Something that is as good as Aqua Calender for UIQ. This has a huge amount of icons that can be displayed in the month view so you can see what is upcoming over a larger span of time.
Thanks
TodayAgenda, it's perfect, many way's for costumizing and it's freeware.

For UK potential X1 owners, be aware that Orange do not have a 7 day return policy if the X1 (or any other handset) is purchased from an Orange or CPW shop. The only way you can cancel the contract is if you claim the handset is faulty.

This is X1i - it does not have UMTS 1700 !!!!
On the second youtube video t-Mobile IS NOT connected on 3g.
It is GSM/EDGE.
FOR THE 100TH TIME: T-Mobile needs
BOTH UMTS 1700 **AND** 2100 in order to connect at 3G

I was saying that through out the video and even the comments i made were no 3g ... just was a mistake putting 3g instead of edge in the post.

GREAT review indup,
Now that you relieved all your hate
What are you going to do in this thread, there is nothing left to hate.
Do whatever. As for me you will be totally ignored.
and I know all decent members will do the same.

1) it wasnt my review and besides 'se dude' said he wanted to hear such crap reviews.
2) if i want to hate i put my views across that is my right here. i didnt read in the topic title 'x1 love-in only'.
3) theres plenty left to hate here.
4) if you ignore me it is of no consequence.
5)and thanks for graciously speaking on behalf of all the decent members. who put you in the position as spokesman for 'all decent members' or did you put yourself forward?

Anyone know how to check the version of software installed?
I'm want to know which version of opera (i think 9.5) but can't seem to find a way to check.
Cheers
PS touchflow looks awsome.

And how are people finding battery life? I find it quite poor, seems there is always a data link even when idle. I turn it off manualy only to find it stays on when an app uses it.
As for email, even when connected to Wi-Fi, the email client switches the 3G data link on to send/recieve.
Thanks JD
Hi JD,
I'm also on Vodafone, and I've already had a conversation with Sony Ericsson and Vodafone about the Wi-Fi issue. Wi-Fi does not work, even though you can connect to it, it won't use that connection. Both sets of developers are working to find a solution, so you can bear with it, or move networks where phones are unbranded if it's important to you.
Personally I'm not too bothered as the non-Wi Fi connection is fast enough for me at the moment.
In short - Vodafone reprogrammed and made a mess of it, BTW if anyone has the new C905, the same problem exists.
As for battery life, hmmm I haven't really given it a good go, as I've been playing with it, and adding new functions whilst it's charged from my laptop. Will let you know when I have a day of "normal" activity.

SonyEricsson's stock problems (X1 is in O2's testing apparently I was told on Thursday), might cost them a customer.
I've just seen the HTC Touch HD. Also based on Windows Mobile, it has a large 3.8" touchscreen, GPS and looks great too.
http://blog.4rev.net/2008-10/[....]-hd-vs-sonyericsson-xperia-x1/ -> An elementary comparison
It's on mobiles.co.uk already with stock expected first week of November (which probably means December in the real world).
Looks tempting - i'm going to do some more research.

I'll be needing to check out the HD too, then there might be a tough choice to make
