Hi guys, i'm really thinking to buy C905 again, (after my crappy experience with a W43 C905 which seemed to have loads of problems).

It would be great if someone could confirm devices made after 45th Week of 2008 are safe to buy now? ...and i'm talking about Keypad Stiffness problems, Earpiece problems and Connectivity problems.

I'm still hearing loads of people complaining about faulty their SE C905, ... So i really need to be ensured if the new batches after 08W45 are safe from those problems mentioned above.

I would be glad if you please answer me as soon as possible, hence i'm going to make my decision in the next few hours.

Thanks in advance for your answers. (By the way, previously i had the Cooper coloured one, this time i'd go for Black or silver if things go right.)

No good.

Had problems with two 08W48 phones one after another. Bad phone. May never buy SE again.

Could you explain what sort of problems you were dealing with?

Well get as recent as you can, I'm lucky and got a 09W02 model as my first one, and its fine. Slider could still be a bit more solid though in my opinion.

Knight,

Thanks for the answering anyways as i said my previous C905 was almost turning into a walking disaster at that time. ...but still in terms of the options in a feature phone C905 is really hard to beat in comparision to other feature-phones in the current market.

Anyways, i still need to know which batches are faulty free and Safe to buy.

The W45 hence are great. The guy there was just spamming it up. Well you may get a bad one now and there, but the present batches dnt have the earpiece problem.

Thanks for answering ...yet i'm hoping C905s made from W45 (and onwards) dont have the keypad stiffness problems as well. (?)

well im now on my 5th c905.

my latest is 09w03, and it had a stiff "up" d-pad from the moment i took it out of the box!

i tried to take it back to the carphone warehouse 10mins later, only to be told it doesnt constitute a fault as the phone still works, so they would'nt do anything!

this is the third phone i've had with this problem, the other had the earpiece problem.

although luckily, the problem of the d'pad doesnt seem to have got any worse in the month i have had it, so probably just going to live with it, as swapping it again might give me an even worse handset.

At what point did this W45 figure become a 'fact'? I'm sure it's just a date someone dreamt up in Esato because a couple of handsets from then on were okay.
I know people who have 09 C905's with all the same problems, ear pieces, keypads etc. It's just another great disaster.
