Basically there's no good alternatives out there now, for the same price.

Donīt know where it was made, looks like heaven ;op

Tried 5 new cells and two old and none of them creaks when i push the buttons. When I press fimly on batterycover and cameracover it creaks. But if i press that fimly on a car it will get buckled..

Opera Mini's the answer?? Hmmm, i've gotta ask the chaps who can't get it installed on their k750i models what the problem is then.

Dude, I have opera mini working fine. If you do a search of howardforums, you will find a guide and link to download the jar file to your computer. You then bluetooth or cable it to your phone and install. Works a charm! The dudes who can't get it working have never heard of the feature

I know, I'm not complaining about the camera cover and battery cover. Doing that on purpose will definitely make them squeak. Its plastic, i expect them to squeak.
Mine is squeaky on the front. It squeaks just to the right of the right hand side soft-key. Guess I'm just plain unlucky to get a crap unit then.
There was another person in this thread who had the exact same problem as me. Squeaky front, towards the right hand side, above the "c" button area...

But its still a good phone though...

I think the W800 has a slightly different casing design so no. The camera shutter is not sticking out and does not move when you are using the phone. I *think* the battery cover is more solid too!

@ Marcus, today i saw a Beemer backing up against a lamppost... Quite predictably, it buckled... Didn't make a squeaking sound though. Although the lady driver really did sound like a constipated rabbit when she viewed the damage! This message was posted from a Nokia

maybe they should include the squeaking feature in the phone's features with the tag line: "squeaking phone. good for toddlers"

anyway, this squeaking issue is something i used to experience on my previous SE phones, but now it's something my S700i lacks. its build quality is so solid; i'm having problems removing the battery cover!
