Yes the r2k005 is the latest .

I found other bugs on it .

The flash change internal phone settings , not the cameras software or other stuf like media player or WAP .

I noticed that the radio reception become more hard .
In other words the station must be very strong so the Stereo indicator to be On.

When the radio is on , there is no sleep function any more, the radio screen is always there ,and simply the diplay works all the time ,but with out the back light. (as power saving mode) .

I will check about your bug .

About the speaker issue I followed one more extreme way.
I found that the speaker is very large, but is covered by an wall of plastic, only 1/4 of it is free.

So I drilled it, yes I did.
Now the 3/4 of it it’s free, what stopped me from freeing all of it was the rail from the protective lens cover, 1/4 of the speaker is behind it.

Now I have extra volume, and I can not complain any more, but I think that I damaged one protective plastic net, in front of the speaker. (stops very small metal particles from entering in the speaker core ) .
I covered my holes with special black aluminium (metal net) ( TV speakers or portable radio haves it) .
The point is that I am a technician, and I have the tools.
What I did was micro surgery.

I come from the planet of computers mod’s, moding my phone was easy for me.

Not that I recommend this solution, but this is what I did

The metal net is very thin (slim) , it does not block the lens cover .
