monks are made not born - which means they were something else before becoming monks. monks are (usually) cellibate which means they don't do it anymore, not that they never have.

yeah, there's some info in that book. it says it's 'legal' if you do it with the person you married (obviously of the opposite sex). God made sex, so sex is good, but if you play by the rules only. anyone interested in reading the entire bible will find out the good guys allways win in the end or have better luck

AFAIK there is also no explicit constraint on sex for pleasure, although it more or less assumes a single partner.
the bible seems to only have a real issue with sex devoid of emotional commitment and rampant promiscuity.
